About Dr. Fu

I chose to specialize in Maternal-Fetal Medicine because I am passionate about taking care of pregnant women. I want to help women and their families navigate the challenges of a high-risk pregnancy where we have to consider both the mom and the fetus in all our decisions. I am currently the medical director for the MFM Prenatal Clinic at Anschutz, as well as a liaison for the Children's Hospital Immunodeficiency Program which cares for pregnant moms with HIV. I am a regular attending in the resident Diabetes and High-risk OB Clinic, and have clinical interests in diabetes, HIV, and other medical complications of pregnancy.

  • Medical School: University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
  • Residency: Stanford University, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Stanford, California
  • Fellowship: Stanford University, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Stanford, California

Did you know?

When Dr. Fu is not at work, she enjoys running, hiking, skiing, reading books, playing piano, eating yummy food (especially when she doesn't have to cook it), and spending time with her family.

I do my best to listen to my patients and hear their concerns. I understand that people are more than their medical problems, and that their personal and family life affects their medical care. My goal is to guide them through their decision-making process by sharing my thought process using what we know (and don't know) about medicine, and letting my patient tell me about their personal values.
