About Laura
Laura Kennedy, PA-C, MMS, RD, is a native of central Illinois. She received a bachelor's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics from Saint Louis University, and then completed a year-long clinical dietetic internship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas to complete her training as a Registered Dietitian. After working as an RD for several years, Laura decided to further her education and career by applying to graduate school. She completed the Physician Assistant program at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. Upon graduation, she joined The Women's Group of Northwestern as a general obstetrics and gynecologic PA, where she has remained employed for the past five years. Laura is passionate about caring for women and prides herself in being a strong communicator, educator and overall compassionate provider.

Did you know?
Laura has been married to her husband Brian for three years. They love to travel and spend time in the great outdoors, especially national parks (they recently visited their 16th park together last month!) and anywhere with a beautiful hike. Laura and Brian are looking forward to calling Colorado home and taking advantage of all the incredible outdoor activities the area has to offer. Laura also enjoys reading, baking, fitness, and spending time with her 3-year old twin nephews.
