About Dr. Matthews
Linda Matthews (previously Fonseca), MD, is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Her clinical interests include caring for women who have complicated pregnancies due to medical problems, fetal concerns or due to complications with previous pregnancies that may affect their current pregnancy. She earned her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science, at Southern Methodist University. She then went on and earned her MD at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Medical School. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Texas - Houston LBJ Program. Dr. Matthews completed her fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Medical School, Memorial Hermann Hospital.
Dr. Matthews joined University of Colorado Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology faculty as an Associate Professor in Maternal-Fetal Medicine in June 2019.
